FRENCH HOLYDAYS

Bethan Lee
Born on 3/1/1984

September 2004 - July 2005
My Erasmus year I spent in Aix-en-Provence which is a gorgeous little town near Marseille. The halls I lived in were very cheap and basic but I had a great experience meeting people from all over the world. I stayed for as long as possible in the summer, going to the beach, swimming pool and enjoying the music festival.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Zack Jerome
Born on 3/10/1982
Asst. Project Manager

My third independent feature will be released. It's called "Echoboom" and it's a story about my generation and our quirks. I am proud of it, even though I've only seen the rough cut as of yet. It will be submitted to dozens of festivals and I hope for the best. I wrote and produced this film, along with acting in a minor role.

CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

Fabienne Walker-Monod
Born on 29/11/1964
Translator

1 January 1965
A very proud, chin up 6 year old girl carries her baby sister from the car to the house. She's brimming with joy. Parents are scared silly that she's going to drop me. She never has. Nothing much to say about my parents - it is my beloved sister who raised me, cherished me, guided me and gave me wings to fly on my own.

Among my childhood memories, the one that stands out most is a journey to Centre and North America, with my brother Etienne and my father. 20 years later as I write these lines, visions of this period are still strikingly clear. The mysteries of the pyramids and of Inca cities, as well as the gigantism of America and the Statue of Liberty, which didn't enjoy the same reputation as it has today, amazed my young eyes.

My first independent feature "Chasing September" was screened in Thousand Oaks, California. I wrote, co-produced, and acted in it. It did well with local press and set a foundation for me to raise funds for future feature length endeavors.

Peter Woods
Born on 17/5/1953
Freelance writer and corporate communications adviser

5 January 1975
After graduating from Mitchell CAE, Peter begins his career in Journalism as a junior general reporter at the Central Western Daily newspaper in Orange, the major regional centre in the Mid-west of the state of New South Wales. There, he covers a range of assignments from breaking news, the criminal and civil courts, police rounds and even local cattle shows.
1975 proves to be one of the most tumultuous in Australian history, with the sacking of the social-democratic Federal Government of Prime Minister Gough Whitlam, in November of that year. This leads to nation-wide demonstrations. The 'healing' process covers many years.
